Welcome to Inclusion WA

We are a community service organisation with a proud history.  We work alongside people who are disadvantaged or disconnected from society to help them live the best possible life.

Ultimately, we want a community in which everyone feels welcome; is respected and recognised for having something valuable to offer.

Why Social Inclusion?

You may be wondering what social inclusion is and why it is so important. At Inclusion WA, making sure people are ‘included’ is at the forefront of everything we do.

Inclusion is about being part of a whole, having the opportunity to take risks, have choices, make mistakes, be independent as possible and enjoy participating in recreation, arts, sport and leisure alongside other people in the community.

You can find out more about what social inclusion is here.

"We wholeheartedly believe in the importance of social inclusion and the many benefits it can offer individuals and communities, including improved physical and mental wellness, an enhanced sense of belonging, stronger networks of social support and economic advantages arising from a healthy society."

How We Work

We work to build the capacity of the community and create, lasting, sustainable connections that ensure each individual is not just present in their community, but included in it.

It’s all about you. We take the time to learn all about your dreams, strengths and what’s going on in your life.

You are in control of your plan. We create and use a plan so we are clear on what your goals are.

It’s all about developing your skills and getting to know your local community, meeting people who share similar interests and achieving your goals.

Let's stop, pause and revisit why we’re here. Have you reached your goals? How are we travelling in relation to what you want to do?
