Inclusion WA wants everyone to have choice and control, share ordinary places and feel a sense of belonging in their community. Social inclusion means that people from different backgrounds, with different perspectives, who have different abilities feel welcomed, valued and included in their chosen communities.
We support people who have NDIS funding to meet their goals. This could look like empowering people to become more involved with their community, assisting them in identifying activities of interest to get involved in and supporting them to build lasting and meaningful relationships.
We offer training for other support providers, support workers and those who work in the disability sector. Our training services aim to teach disability support workers how to support people with disability in an empowering way.
We work with NDIS participants to discover their skills, talents and interests so that they can explore employment opportunities suited to their needs and strengths. We support people to get ready to apply for jobs and engage in work experience, volunteering and skill development to increase their job readiness.
